It happens all the time. Theres weanlings going thru the OBS sale that the stud fees havent been paid yet. Obviously you dont release a stallion certificate until the stud fee has been paid. This is not unusual.

Where does it say the stud fee isnt paid? Its the JC registration and NY Bred registration that arent paid and will cost $300 to complete both.

It says the filly can be registered, but the fees are not paid... that usually means stud fees.

Have to agree with Gerry. The text of the ad suggests that it is the registration fees that aren't paid-says nothing about the stud fee. You wouldn't be able to do the paper work without a certificate of service-and the ad says all the paperwork is complete.

hmmm, well if you are the stallion owner, which is worse? To have one of your horse's offspring, stud fee $2,500, valued at only $400 or to have one being sold "under the radar" with the fee not paid??

shame shame Madelyn, aren't you the one that was willing to take advantage of my personal situation a few weeks ago and possibly swing by and scoop up this little filly, her dam and possibly my 3YO Bid filly???

The filly - worth, as we all know, way more than $400 - is stud fees paid - eligible NYBred - TJCIS and NY fees - including Nomination - will run $300. and all docs are in place, as well as photos taken for the next owner....

All you have to do is send them in and pay the fee and you got yourself a bargain.

And Madelyn - you know my personal situation

Any questions..just ask me....http://www.heritageacres.net
