Faux Finish was SUCH a good girl at the Royal today!l

I was so darned pleased with her. She won her yearling class, was named Grand Champion Junior filly, won the Harry Addison Challenge trophy, but best of all - she handled EVERYTHING so darned well!

From that awful ramp up and down, to the heavy horses clumping by, to the screaming kids in the strollers up her rear end, to her first braid job, her first show ever, to the trailer ride longer than around the block - just everything ...

She arrived there and started munching on hay in her stall - no screaming or pacing, and blew bubbles in her water bucket

Oh! There was ONE bad thing she did ...

She was bound and determined to use her hind foot to scratch each and every braid out! We put an end to THAT behaviour - REAL quick!

Without further ado, here are some pictures of her taken today:

I totally and completely adore this filly and can hardly wait until the shows start in 2006! :)

Enjoy!

Congratulations . . . . she is just lovely.

I love the first picture as I detect a little bit of devilment in her eye . . .

She sure looks like a champion. So alert and gorgeous. Please keep us posted on what I'm sure will be many, many more kudos to come in her career. Wow...what a looker.

Good job!

This shows my ignorance in general horse stuff, but what did she have to do in the events? Was it hunter/jumper, dressage, etc? (btw, she looks cute  )

OH Donna.......wish I had known you were going! I had a couple friends show in the 3 yr old classes. I didn't get there until later but would have been nice to meet up with you. I wanted to see the line classes so badly as I am hoping to bring 2 down next year.....Claire
