Here are ten day pictures of Glory's new filly, born 1-18-06. She is officially named Royal Pacific. She is a very dominant personality, and shows displeasure with kicking legs and tossing head and jerking of teats, when her mom is not responsive quickly enough for her needs. And mom chases everybody and everything out with flying hooves. It should be some fun in the days ahead!

In the second pic, Mom looks like she's giving the camera the evil eye and thinking "Enter if you dare!"

They look so peaceful in the first photo. LOL Pics can be deceptive.

Actually, we've all been really surprised by Reigning Glory's behavior . She's never given anybody a hard time before. This motherhood business really has been a turning point for her, I guess.

Of course if someone was jerking my teats, I'm sure I'd have a sour disposition just like hers!
