Everybody's Avatars

Postby LSB » Sat Feb 18, 2006 10:26 am

Inquiring minds want to know... :)

There are some really nice looking horses in those little tiny pictures under everybody's names. Some people, like me, are always changing theirs around. And I'm always wondering who I'm looking at.

So come on, 'fess up. Who's your avatar?

hi Tairaterces

Fusaichi Pegasus...so that's who that high-headed son-of-a-gun avatar is.

 Mine was a REAL and CONSISTENT SUPERSTAR racehorse...Seattle Slew...

...an extremely rare gem.

Best to you.

I gave up. If this is what y'all go through RL, count me out. I'll just buy the buggers as 2yos  I've never been one for delayed satisfaction, most times anyway.

Besides, Ruffian has the bay mare. Thought I'd change over for some variety and I liked the white mare. There was a zebra for March, too, but that seems kind of redundant since the whole idea is that you don't know what the mare is capable of foaling -- site owner has specified that "sires are unknown, but the foal will be genetically correct" so I figured a "white" mare gives me the most variety as it's clearly an extreme sabino with an unknown colour base. Short of a Zeule, Zedonk or Zony, the only thing you get from a zebra is another zebra.

Right now I'm just torqued because Oaklawn's been canceled. Damnit. Polarity was suppose to make his 3yo debut today.

My aunt had a zedonk named PJ (Pajammas).
She acted very wild!

LOL took me a sec to figure out what a Zedonk was...I catch on eventually though

I put the chestnut mare on another site for my signature since I couldn't do two here. Too many characters.

One of these days I'll get to doing my own avatar on this board. I'm picky when it comes to those. Definitely think FuPeg's pretty to look at. They oughta do a calendar of their stallions.

One of my own race mares, who is now a broodmare in foal to Legal Jousting on a late May cover. This gal loved to race, and if we couldn't find a race against the girls, she'd run with the boys. And always finish quite well. She has one of those eyes that shows white all the time-always maintained she scared the rest of the field!
