no , he loves the snow. the horses have a blast in that field because it is huge and all open.
the story on me and Evan is that i just adopted him through a local horse rescue in CT. i donate my time to the rescue and work with a wide variety of horses from many backgrounds. it is awesome. The background on Expect peace or Evan as i call him is he raced for a few years but was retired due to a bone chip/fracture in his right knee. some one bought him oof the track and did not have the time or maybe the knowledge to work with him and donated him to the rescue because we track all our horses for life. so we ensure they will have a good home.
so anywho i am a beginner/ intermediate rider in my 30s with an OTTB who i absolutly adore. i could not figure out how to fix his info but this site has helped me and now i have added a recent picture of my boy who is slightly fat because he is greedy. finally good weather here and his work out schedual has begun. maybe we will show at a local show this summer. but he is such a scardy cat.
it is so interesting to find horses that are related. esp when it is a recent relation. ie Peace rules and i found one other who is standing stud somewhere. he was small and did not seem to have a big race career but it could be just missing from his profile here.
thanx guys Heather
