Here's the link to a photo of that filly! very colorful- and quite pricey  Wonder if she'll race... might buy her and race her at newmarket just to see the face on all the lords and ladies

Ahh... if only I had spare cash like that

(Kicks off hip waders after going thru lots of muck on this board tonight) What a neat baby! How much does 5000 pounds translate to in US dollars?

6,000 pounds = $10,800... and for a filly whose on-course success would seem minimal thats super pricey, but for the look on the Lords and ladies... man!!!

Ruffian,
Thanks for the interesting picture. I do not recognize the names in her pedigree.
Is her breeding fairly modest?

Hi Judi,

Yes her breeding is quite modest, she is by first season Coolmore offcast 'King O'The Mana' whom is by Turtle Island- whom sired a 2000 guineas winner prior to being shoved off into Co.Cork 'Coolmore National Hunt'. The damsire looks to be German, although I personally have never heard of him before. KOTM stands for 1,000.

I wish she had better breeding. :D Then I might've been forced to buy her!!!

R, you're being too kind, Tigerwood was a hurdler and as far as I can find out from the Racing Post has managed to get 8 runners onto the racecourse since 1988. King o the mana won 3 times in 15 starts never winning higher than a B class handicap.

She is a beautiful looking horse though.

LOL- Colin I'm worried her owner may frequent the forum  lol
Like I said, it is a real shame she doesn't have better breeding as she'd be quite a commodity. But as it has it she'll probably be an also ran and just give the lords and ladies what they want- if a horse isn't perfect it shouldn't be raced- which our Attraction broke all rules on of late :D
