Hi
I have a stravinsky mare over here in the UK called Riverside Dancer out of the mare Odori (the minstrel-taiwanese) and I am looking to find out a bit more both about the racing career in the US of Odori and also the racing career in the US of the offspring of Odori to race over there
Could anyone help me to access this info on the internet
thanks
Odori

Odori was unplaced in 5 starts in the US per BRIS.
If you know the name of a US-bred or raced horse, you can access racing information for free at www.bris.com. Select the "Pedigree & Lifetime Starts" button, then the "Pedigree Reports" line from the menu on the next page. That will bring you to a page that has "Enhanced Five Cross With Lifetime Earnings" in red at the top. Click that, and you can enter the name of the horse whose US record you want to know about to pull up a five-cross pedigree and race record. European information is available for the more recent horses (mid-1970s or so for England, Ireland, and France, later for Germany and Italy); you'll probably get stakes races only for horses from the Southern Hemisphere.
BRIS can provide progeny reports but you have to pay for them; ditto at The Jockey Club's DB at www.equineline.com.

You can also go to Equibase.com, scroll down to the empty box in the left hand margin, approx half way down the page. Enter horse's name in that box, and hit enter. Up in the middle of page comes the charts of all races. Summary will be at bottom of that page. Initially it will only show the 2 most recent races, click "see all results" for a chronological (most recent to oldest) list of every race (races from older horses might not be complete). On each line, first is listed the racetrack, then date, then race #, then level of race (clm, msw, allow, stakes) then on the far right is a blue link that says chart. Click on "chart" for the pdf version of the detailed results from that race.
Odori:
Churchill (outrun, no factor, trailed)
Keeneland (trailed, mild rally to 7th)
Keeneland (trailed, late rally to 5th)
Dueling Grounds (trailed, minor rally to 8th)
Turfway (trailed, minor rally to 8th)
Let me know if you cant view the equibase charts. They do require adobe acrobat reader, a free download online @ http://get.adobe.com/reader/
