Shared Belief is confirmed off the Derby trail. Can we get the Derby Outs sticky up for this year? Maybe just rename this thread and pop it up to the top? We've had some horses that seemed iffy to make it, but now they're starting to officially peel off.

does he? lucky pulpit was a sprinter.. middle distance horse at best. and he (california chrome) is a half brother to a graded stakes winner at 6F.Bill from WA wrote:Bummer! He was my top pick. Have to start all over now. California Chrome looked awfully tough in the last. Has a decent stamina pedigree.

Hi BDW
I just like the way his pedigree is put together. Lots of good stamina influences down the dam line. I project that he will run farther than most would think. I may be dead wrong (been wrong a lot in my years on this earth) but the way I break a pedigree down makes me think he can get the Derby distance. I think several other hopefuls have better stamina pedigrees, but California Chrome seems to be one of the most talented runners in this crop.
