I was so upset and shocked to read it on Facebook. I saw that he had colic surgery, but it sounded like he came out of it well. Such a game competitor... just when he was entering his "happily ever after" years. So, so sad...

It's very sad. Quite a few haters on social media attributing this to the effects of retirement, but sounds like it was just an unfortunate coincidence. I had been looking forward to hearing about him and seeing pictures of his retirement.
