Louis! El Elogado

Postby Swaps1955 » Mon Dec 19, 2005 5:59 pm

Hi, Louis,

Do you know anything about El Elogado, who broke down (but finished the race) today at Hollywood Park? McAnally trains him. Thanks so much. I love those South American horses. (Wasn't Trotamondo terrific?)

Looking forward to opening day at Santa Anita.

El Elogoda injury was bad and had to be put down. I havent seen many of Mc Nally's TB go down with injuries as he is training a better class of horse.

He ran in Pleasantly Perfect's Pacific Classic and had gone downhill since then. He was gorgeous, I have a great picture of him before the race.
Too bad about him being euthanized.

Hi, Inish Glora,

I don't know how to post pictures, but if YOU do, could you post his picture? Thanks,

Wendy

I don't have the negatives, so I can't put the pictures on disk. At the time I took the pictures I didn't have a digital. Sorry.

When I make my AM rounds of the barns, I like to observe the condition of each TB. I fell in love with a full sister to Capitano, trained by Ray Bell.

I will post her name later as I dont have it at this time, This filly is in magnificent condition as her coat is dappled out in her chestnut color.

When these TB go down to injury it makes me feel real bad, as I become friends with them. Elagado was a diamond in the rough with a heart of gold. I miss seeing him in my AM rounds. May you rest in peace Elgado. Amen.

The name of Ray Bell's filly a full sibling to Capitano is Heavenly Ransome.
