The Tesio is not a graded race anymore..neither is the Derby Trial.

*noddin'

Xchanger has about $300k in earnings now, but I don't know how much of that is graded earnings since it comes from a win in the Sapling and a third in the Nashua and Delta Jackpot (all G3).

(I did that update after the Lexington, but before the Tesio and went off the Graded list the Churchill site has up)

Steve Haskin is implying in a Bloodhorse article today that one of Slew's Tizzy/Xchanger is now definite for the Derby and the other is possible (he doesn't say which is which). I haven't found an actual article where this is properly reported. Does anyone else know what's going on with these two?

Right after the race, Slew's Tizzy's connections intimated they weren't inclined to go. I'd say he's the one on the fence and Xchanger is the definite.

Bwana Bull's name has now be thrown in. At this point, if you don't have $100k or more in earnings, you probably aren't going.

2 Scat Daddy $1,308,500
3 Circular Quay $1,116,134
4 Curlin $780,000
5 Nobiz Like Shobiz $778,500
6 Great Hunter $752,500
7 Stormello $642,900
8 Dominican $498,484
9 Tiago $450,000
10 Cowtown Cat $437,253
11 Hard Spun $360,000
12 Storm in May $227,500
13 Slew's Tizzy $207,500 <--- Still undecided
14 Zanjero $205,000
15 Xchanger $202,890 <--- Still undecided
16 Any Given Saturday $177,969
17 Liquidity $161,200
18 Cobalt Blue $150,000

Bwana Bull has no chance. I'm sorry about Teuflesberg and Chelokee.

*delete double post due to board being a POS!!*

This goddamn thing has been pissing me off since 6pm last night. Anyone else getting an error message EVER FLIPPING TIME they click a link?

Teuflesburg could still make it in. Bwana Bull's people are saying Derby Trial or Derby. I really don't think Slew's Tizzy's people want to come back on 2 weeks rest. I bet they sit out and wait for the Preakness. I've more interest in the turf race for that weekend at this point. I like Street Sense more and more for the Derby -- Let's see if the Darley studs can get 4 ;)

Read last night that the Slew's Tizzy folks were raving about how well their horse came out of that last race....which is often the first symptom of Derby Fever.

He's now '50/50' to run in the Derby....the decision is to be made this weekend.

Well that was a heck of a turn around then. Right after the race, they were saying they didn't want to run on 2 weeks rest (or so the bloodhorse reported).

Where's Harry Aello when we need him?

I believe the trainer would prefer not to run Slew's Tizzy, but the owner seems to be getting the fever.

Some owners need to be beaten with a cluex4.

The trainer won. ST's waiting for the Preakness as of this morning.
