If anyone wants firsthand info, ask away....he is running at Thistledown until the end of the meet. He sends horses to our farm because he does not have enough stalls at the track. I do have one positive thing to say, he pays his bills. That is all. Just one.

I hope his horses are a bit better off in our care, if even for a short time.

He has a zoo in NJ. He uses this trailer to haul horses back and forth to NJ. It has 4 small box stalls. Last time he took horses home to NJ he took 8.....do the math. We had to pull one filly out of the back after she fell trying to get away from the mare he tried to put her in with. I was horrified, he was unconcerned. Just switched that filly for another one. I never did hear if they all made it to NJ, a long drive with squealing kicking horses. "They'll be fine once I'm moving". Um, sure.

I'll also say this....he runs mostly bottom level claimers. He and his wife own them all themselves. They don't win much, not enough to pay the bills on 60 horses. I wonder where the money comes from??? Maybe he has a lemonade stnad on the weekends...........

If the man did what he was accused of, and they can't ban him if there is no proof, he shouldn't be allowed back in the sport. I'd like to say I can't believe he was allowed to make a living while everyone knew what he was doing, but I know better. I mean look at just this past year alone.

This is pretty scary that they let him back after all he's done, but some officials feel that the claimers make the sport and pay the bills, so to fill races thay let a lot slide. A lot of jip outfits out there, some of you would be horrified if you saw the things I saw in the '70s in Michigan, unbelivable!! I used to quit trainers when I got attached to my horses and knew they were really sore, actually crippled so I didn't have to load a "dead" horse in the killers truck without drugs for pain. I also fed lots of sloppy mashes on race night so they wouldn't run so hard even "hopped" which I knew they were for the most part. In fact that's why I quit and became a vet tech in research so I wouldn't have to watch them kill "MY" horses. Now I call the shots and everybody gets pain drugs and is euthinized when it gets to be too much.
