Oh dear, poor Sam.

Well I apparently managed today's advancement because I had War Pass and Court Vision, as well as Colonel John and Bob Black Jack.

I'll never pick Zito again, I'll tell you that much. Which probably means he'll win the next five Derbies in a row.

Looking back at War Pass and his works, how on earth could you hope to have him ready for a 9F race? He has worked 5F once and 6F once since he came back.

Sorry, but IMHO if you want to make a horse outrun his ped you have to do something besides 4F works, an alw race and then throw him into 2 GS races where the horse isn't allowed to so much as touch the surface till raceday. :? How about shipping early and giving the horse a run at the surface?

Looking at BBJ on paper I thought no way would this horse get beyond 8F. Yesterday I looked at the works he has posted. Kudos to his trainer..now he's got a horse that was a neck from one of the best preps this season. Zito's got a horse who could run a faster pace (:22, :45, 1:09, 1:35 mile) and close to this distance in the muck at Monmouth, but has gone 10 steps backward since October.

I just don't know what Zito has been thinking in managing this horse..any insight? :?

I hate that guy.

Amen to that, Sam... Same exact thing keeps happening to me with him. Bill Mott turned out to be utterly useless as well.

I'm pissed because I was out of town all this week and I completely forgot to update my activated horses, so I didn't get any points for War Pass or Colonel John's efforts... That hurt...

Oh well, I wasn't doing too great before that in any case.

NONE of the humans I picked have brought in a single point. :(

The horses weren't doing much better, though Ekati & Col. John helped me out this weekend. So now I'm sitting in 5,121st place.

Go Go's snagged me a whopping 3 points, otherwise my humans would be the big zero too. I was stupid, though. I REALLY liked Yankee Bravo and thought he'd get a couple of preps so I took Galligher thinking I'd be one of the few who had him.
