Utmost interesting - so many cyphers, so many horses, so less meaning.

Hi Parlo,

I. surely can see You do not believe in Santa.

Yet PURPLE MOON was spelled out boldly.

Also the cyphers are in arabic numerals, which properly does confuse You a little bit.

But nevertheless they have some bearing.

Just kidding,

Have a nice Holiday,

Siegy,

Yes, n e v e r t h e l e s s everything has some bearing as the true believer knows - doesn't matter he is unable to explain. And belief begins where knowledge has reached its limit.

Some believe in evil Phalaris, some in Fibonacci-cyphers even Steven Roman didn't use, and there are some who believe in Santa, Easter-bunnies or in storks that bring little babies down to our earth ...

Hold on to your believes and God bless America. 8)

Nobody knows the trouble I see, nobody knows but ...

Quite interesting discussion - of course from an European point of view - on the "some bearing" and relevance of Roman's Dosage Cyphers in this thread:

Parlo you sound like an American who just reviewed his latest 401K statement.

Your link was not too "Shabby", to say the least.

Louis posted:
BR progeny had 319 lifetime starters & made 7,687 lifetime starts = 24 average lifetime starts, those stats elevated BR to 3rd place out of 100 stallions for lifetime soundness.

BR had 11 crosses of NP---5 crosses Ph. thru his sire lines.

Beware Parlo, Louis will follow you to the ends of this earth to make his point.

@Shammy Davis: You know quite well that the "excessive sire-line-inbreeding to Phalaris" complained by @Louis started with the Northern-Dancer-revolution in the mids of the 1970ties. So @Louis examples of horses in the 50ties and 60ties like Bold Ruler, when major long discance-races (f.e. Jockey Club Gold Cup) were run even in the US do not fit any logic - but that really doen't matter after some 175 pages, does it? Let him his dreams as @Siegy has his ... although they haven't much to do with tb-breeding.
