What a difference when you take two quick peeks back and spend more time riding your horse. Quality Road wins the Woodward easily. TJ

Notice, he didn't fall off when looking back, which produced a significantly better ride. Still the 6 f pace wasn't 1:09 and there was no challenge mounted from a "weak field" of competitors down the lane.

Hi Horse,
That is true, but he rode the horse every step of the way and had plenty left at the wire. I read an article which the owner was less than happy with the last ride JV put up on Quality Road.....it happens, but JV did something about that this time and the horse responded. TJ
