A little bit of poetic justice. Evan's who owns A little Warm and Quality Road took his horses away from Jimmy Jerkens.....left him a bit empty till today. TJ

Afleet Express

Postby jagger » Sat Aug 28, 2010 3:09 pm

Ah yes. ASB. I was just waiting for someone to respond. I should mention that my wife and all her friends earerly await my handicapping efforts. If I deem that a horse has "No Chance", they immediately go out and place their bets and have won more than enough money to end world hunger. :P

NO CHANCE

Postby jagger » Sat Aug 28, 2010 3:48 pm

Sorry, Walaa. I almost added that caveat to my original post but got called away to work. My wife was on her way back from Lexington when I made the declaration regarding Afleet Express's chances and she left a trail of cars in her wake as she found her way to the closest OTB to put down her bet on.......Afleet Express....why of course. :P

what a great race. Ron Ellis on TVG made the good point that if Fly Down had been able to change leads, it may have proved the difference.

No wonder that a field that didn't look too exciting going in produced an exciting race.

Traver's

Exciting but slow. 52 second last half and 27 second last quarter. These horses have NO stamina.
