Hi ct,
All the more reason for them to stay home:>) Taking on Mandella at his speed favoring home track is not a good move. Mott blamed himself for Royal Delta's defeat, saying he didn't train her hard enough. She's had two very strong moves since her defeat. Seems it will be a small, but quality field as Beholder, Royal Delta, Princess of Sylmar, Close Hatches, Authenticity and Street Girl are sure to go. TJ

This is a tremendous race...and should be on Saturday to give it its proper respect. Will need to remember to take the day off on Friday now...

I can understand Stanco's desire to run. It's fun! How many times do you get to be in this position?

Hi ct,
If she were mine, I'd probably still pass the race. Yet I agree with you...with the addition of Princess of Sylmar, it takes the guess work (the eclipse award voters:>) out of both, the 3YO filly and older mare eclipse awards. It will be decided right on the race track as it should be. TJ
