real pick six horror story: about 1984 was holding a $200 pick six ticket at Ak Sar Ben. I'd won the first 4 races and lost the ticket somewhere. After an hour rumaging through tickets on ground I found it in my wallet.

won 5th. omg, although all the favorites won that day.

Had favorite and long long shot in 6th. Long shot big beautiful golden type horse, leads all the way and gets nipped at wire by favorite. favorite winning causes my pick six to pay $900 instead of $25,000.

I won a pick 4 ticket on a straight 2 dollar ticket when i was 10 years old lol. true story. my dad took me to the track and he woul give me 20 dollars and let me wager. i was reading hte form and everything. iremember i had ashley's jojo and boozing in 2 of the legs and don't rember the other 2, but i hit it dead on the nose, 4 in a row. that was the beginning of the end for me lol. my dad was so proud of me he told everyone around him which probably was not a good idea considering i was gambling at 10 years old lol.

i mean it's not like it was a 5000 dollar hit or antyhing it was for the most part all chalk, i think i won 150 dollars, maybe more but my dad gave me 150 dollars lol. i spent it all on blockbuster video games, and i took my dad to red lobster. i rented like 10 games at blockbuster lol

Like many others, I hit the Rainbow Pick Six yesterday. As you may know, the total is only paid when a single unique ticket has all 6 winners. Still I thought my $97.20 ticket would be worth 4 figures...nope a mere $685.10 payout.

Now I know it was a chalk day yesterday, but the consolation payout is awfully low. I will not play it again until the end of the meet when they must pay the entire pot.
