Congrats wilf - Wish I had known and been able to watch it myself....those who witnessed this win count it an exciting one - and 'winningest horse' - I like the sound of that title!

Thanks Jellac winning is always a rush however the thrill is entirely temporary unless you quit in the winners circle. Take yesterday for example , I ran three horses, non of whom care for the awful heat wave that we are experiencing. The first one ran so bad that I retired him as he will make a better pleasure horse; the second is a lovely filly out of an In Reality mare and she ran well finishing 3rd in a tough turf allowance and the third mare ran a decent fifth on a cuppy surface drawn wide but I did not see the race as she swung her head and knocked me unconcious for a couple of seconds in the paddock , keeping me in the infirmary while the race was run. She is actually a lovely mare who was reacting to other excitement in the paddock. Still I would not trade places with anyone right now as next week promises another try.
