Actually Unusual Heat is $6000 -- and won't be standing for that next year. Indian Ocean is a Stormy Atlantic with one Grade 3 win in an abbreviated career. If he goes to Florida, he'll probably stand for $5000. If he stays in California, he might stand for $3500-$5000.
I love the horse, but I don't see how he's much different on paper than Avanzado or Joey Franco--stallions in California that stand well south of $7500. Even Skimming--a double grade 1 winner by Nureyev only stood for $7500.

Diane Barry Abrams wife told me UH will be going up to 7,500 in 06. The sad part of it is that UH has too many mares that breeders want to breed to him and the partners of UH dont want to burn the candle at both ends by breeding all those mares and sending UH to Southern Hemisphere for double duty.
Those without sin cast the first stone.
