hi Rok

I can only imagine the possibilities had Stormello been trained and managed masterfully.

Of all the words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these... it might have been.

Haven't given up on Stormello yet.....he has some fire to him. Perhaps a switch to a new barn . . .?

Stormello's trainer is also the co-owner, so, barring a sale, I think a barn switch is unlikely. But you are right...

that's what 8 million buys? god damn.

For $4500, you could have had Singletary. If you don't mind looking at his pedigree. (so what if his parents and siblings and cousins were all good winners? There aren't any NAMES in it.)
There is no such thing as too much Teddy.

The Green Monkey went an easy 1/2 this am over the Belmont Park main track, :49.59 seconds 39/53 on the worktab. Not a bad move considering it is only his 2nd work of his comeback. TJ

Just as long as he doesn't pull another butt muscle...he he!

Hi Barbaro,
Looks like Pletcher is bringing him along very carefully. Didn't think he would wait the full week to work him back after his first slow 3/8ths. Next weeks breeze will answer the "butt" question, "butt" I could be wrong :>) TJ

Two more works and he'll need another well deserved vacation. No ands, ifs, or butts!

The Green Monkey worked on schedule (every Sunday) this AM over the Belmont Park main track. He went an easy 1/2 in :48.92 overall 19 of 45 on the worktab. He's starting to pick up the pace and hopefully will be ready for a Saratoga debut. TJ

The Green Monkey missed his Sunday work today....next theory?

It makes me wonder what Mr Jerkens could have done with this horse by now...Jerkens has made a career out of working with horses with problems.

if he doesn't work out by wednesday, you will never see him

You would take a gapped work on Wednesday to be a good sign?
