He has had some better runners on the new surfaces - and they ran like crap. Ask Tuc how Hystericallady liked the new surfaces. How did ol' Funny Cide like the stuff?

Ask Barclay how Funny Cide liked the turf (which is why he never ran on it). Then take a look at his Poly performances. Now...try putting two and two together, Maven.

Returns the lob with a cross-court smash.

Funnycide could barely win in allowance company on the dirt... not exactly the "cross-court smash" you were hoping for...

And Hystericalady is one horse... it seems you cant really make a legitimate case when you have to use more than one example at a time.

I guess that's what happens when you try to do more than one thing at a time. Dont hurt yourself.

I'm out for the day... enjoy whatever it is you do... alone. :D

Maven writes that the better Distorted Humors haven't tried the Poly. Then when I point out the ones that did and that they ran like crap, she says my case isn't "legitimate."

No wonder "Blonde logic" is an oxymoron.

right now anything form the Star Student/Delmarie line I would be all over.. including Mr. Greeley and Street Sense.\
I think sS is going to make a hell of a Poly sire, as is Mr. Greeley for whatever odd reason

Can I ask why you're so high on Mr. Greeley? He isn't ranking real well at the moment. He's sitting 43 in the rankings with a lot more oppurtunity than many of the stallions ahead of him.

actually I hate Mr. Greeley. I'm not a fan of the entire gone west clan. I told you that in a different thread. I wouldn't spend anything up until say... 2 months ago, if you gave me your bank account number.

bUT.. he's 70% ITM on poly.. look at santa anita.. he sired the 2nd place finisher in the Grade 1 the other day.

maybe.. this is Mr. greeley's calling.

His ranking doesn't show any great affinity for the surfaces though... he's ranked 43 on the poly list. I guess we'll know in time. I still cant believe how well they sell at the sales. Mind boggling... but they do tend to look rather sexy.

Have a great day... later!
