You're right, thanks. Why stoop.

Tuc, there is no doubt you overreacted to his Dutch post. There was nothing there to get so upset about. In fact, this fits a majority of the people found in every corner of the world. Fortunately, you show more patience and are more understanding when communicating with the critters. I'm kinda proud that BDW took a stab at communicating in yet another language...

Now, bdw... I have to take you to task over your critism of Americans and their views toward language. We are no different than any other country in the world in this regard. The reason many other countries emphasize second or third languages is purely economic in nature. You know that what you posted is simply a perpetuation of a anti-American propoganda. It would be the same if I said all French people are rude, ill mannered, self absorbed, arrogant and pay less attention to hygiene than Westerners. Trust me, the Italians and French are even more harsh in their assessments of Americans... and even more critical of people who visit their country and do not speak the language.

Personally, I think Benb does a great job of putting his thoughts into English. Usually the problem is not in what he says or how he says it, rather the problem exists due to others wishing to "misconstrue" his posts to further their agendas.

But you're right, Tuc. Why back out? I feel exactly the same way, I wish the downtime had been longer, and one other poster added to the group.

KAl, my issue doesn't lie with Ben. I think he does a great job with his posts. My issue lies with bad behaviour.

Okay... I forgot why I was posting... back to the topic.

BenB... obviously, metabolism, weight, and/or some other factors cause withdrawal levels (and times) to vary for the individual. Is there a universally accepted withdrawal time utilized in your country?

I still contend a huge part of the problems in North America simply boil down to a lack of universal rules. I am certain we will see far fewer positives if we simply had solid, universal rules and guidelines. Of course the bigger question is... why the heck do we not have such?

Here's a real life scenario.
A horse runs successfully in California, for a trainer that wins at a dominating clip, for years where there is a 24 hour w/d time for bute. never has a bad test. Owners change trainers and the horse then ends up in a venue where the w/d is 48 hours. He wins. OOPS bad test. Next start, he wins again at a price, in a 24 hour jurisdiction oops I did it again... Trainer is a very well respected part of the HBPA. Says it's metabolism. The horse simply has a slow metabolism.
So do the w/d times allow for metabolism/size or are they very narrow?
Was the trainer crooked or did the horse's metabolism slow distinctively as he aged? And the second trainers claims legit?
Opinions anyone.

Yeah, George...while BDW was away, you really picked up the slack and kept this place jumpin'. If you wish that BDW were gone longer, why are you posting on a thread that he started?

I have an issue with you and BDW spamming the board with your no-sense. And I am free to post wherever I want, I do not have to request or have your permission. And even if I don't like the post or poster, I can still post if I see it fit.

Tuc - you're posting on a thread about a trainer doping a horse to win? You're coming around! :D

So, in other words...this thread is spam because BDW started it ("I have an issue with you and BDW spamming the board with your no-sense"), but yet, you see fit to post on it. That makes you a contributor to the spam that you're trying to get rid of, George. Your logic boggles the mind.
