I'm not thrilled to be saying this as I think Shared Belief might be the best all around, but if I was a voter I probably would vote for California Chrome for HOY.

California Chrome was also the overwhelming winner of the hearts of racing fans. I hope that his 2015 campaign will be even better, for the good of racing.

I think Chrome deserved these awards, but I also would've stood behind Main Sequence winning HOY, he was dominating.

BUT... I still think Shared Belief is the best sophomore of 2014, and nothing will change my mind. He is a serious racehorse. Chrome is a good racehorse, and so is Bayern if he gets his lead, but that little dark bay gelding is in my eyes the better of them all.
