I love Delightful Kiss and I have seen most of his races and I think he's a hard knocking allowance level horse at best and a turfy one at that.

But keep that karma coming  I wouldn't mind it all if he went on to do great things!

Did anyone else notice the run Grapelli made Saturday? What was Giacomo's record 2 years ago before the Derby?

One to watch this weekend....

Time Squared (Fu Peg) in the 6th race at Santa Anita on Sunday.

He was the Keeneland April topper and looked very good in his near-miss debut.

Well, you can now cross Tiz Wonderful off your list. This really sucks! :-(

Time Squared broke slow and rallied for third as the .50-to-1 fav. Definitely a two-turn horse, but he needs to improve more before he replaces Tiz Wonderful on my list.

I liked the looks of Exhale as well, although I think he still belongs on the "Darkhorse" list. It would be great if Millennium Wind and Albert the Great, both early "failures", had major classic contenders. Got to like Street Sense though. This could finally be the year to break the curse. Another "Darkhorse" to watch is Thunder One.

Ok, both of my early sleepers are in on Saturday.

Time Squared is in the Sham at Santa Anita.

Forefathers is in the Swale at Gulfstream.

BloodHorse currently has an article online about Derby prospects. Some of them haven't broken their maidens yet. Any comments on those prospects?

I couldn't see any article when I went there. Could you link it? I found various bits and pieces but nothing on more than one race or horse really. I checked Triple Crown Mania section on the site too. I might just be missing it. Usually Steve Haskin does it but I don't think he's done one yet.

Forefathers ran a nice second on Saturday (quick time). I hope they try to stretch him out next.

Time Squared was a bit overhyped by his connections. Time to regroup in a maiden race.

Here we go with another BloodHorse article about contenders. Any thoughts? I see a few on our list that haven't made it to the BloodHorse radar.

I like Exhale. He put up a big figure so effortlessly and in only his second career start.
