Jellac...???? Dogs?? How hard can it be? I have 4 dogs, 3 of them rescued and all I have to do is shout "Cookies" and that does the trick.

Wilf - LOL > Agreed that all it takes with most dogs is 'Cookies' - my own half-Lab & half who knows what rescue is the most food motivated thing I've ever run into. We should have named her 'Cookie Monster; > she's more responsive to the slightest rustle of saran wrap than a hamster!

My point however was that all this care/concern with time spent 'on camera' vs. mandatory 'time outs', the ready availability of proper food, water, shade and rest, double layer handlers, etc. that I witnessed had to do with the utmost concern for animal welfare - the welfare of any animal - that was being used for filming purposes, horses as well as dogs, parrots, etc. I wondered if that was a California thing or pretty much a national level of rules/mandates for the film industry when it intersects with animals, horses included?

I feel sorry for all those grooms & HW, Luck was responsible for them earning a decent wage. Now there back to square 1.

The last episode had some "spunk" to it. It had all the emotional highs and lows that make good programming.

I even liked the Ace's idea about giving out "free horses and their upkeep" if owners would just come and watch the horses run.

Losing "Luck" to the ages is a real shame.
