It's been years since I bought a racing form, as I am not a bettor. The Morning telegraph of years ago was the publication of pp. They used a track bringing next to the speed rating. and a sample would be speed rating of 95 track variant 17.

When the Bing Crosby was running in 1: 11 the speed rating would be 100 as it was a new track record, the variant would be calculated by the other 6 furlong races of the day and then they would give a track variant number next to the 1: 11 time of the Bing Crosby.

My question is does a racing form include the track variant next to the speed rating or byers number?

rogue,

If after allowing all the b.s. posted about and against me by your friend Sam and several others you choose to erupt over my tongue in cheek comment, by all means knock yourself out.

No, I chose to post a warning regarding that comment. Snarky comments have been made by you with far too much regularity to ever be able to consider them "tongue in cheek" and you have been repeatedly asked not to do so.

However, I will "erupt" over the above comment, taken in conjunction with all the other multiple obnoxious and unacceptable comments made by you over the years. Bringing a poster into this who has not posted a damn thing in this thread and who has nothing to do with my comments toward your posts here, OR with your two very recent time-outs, is the last straw.

Attention:
This poster's account has been deactivated for an undetermined length of time, so if you have something to say specifically to him, I suggest you email him directly.

Why Louis, I think that is a very good question! Let's find out...

I guess he is gone, so it doesn't matter.

But I really liked the Poly at first and my horse ran remarkably well on it. At 7, he put in his best races. I have now noticed a change in the surface and two sound horses came back with ankle injuries. Also of note, even though he injured his ankle last time out my old man got his highest beyers of his life, so I'm not bitter about my horses running poorly on the surface, because they didn't. :D

I think the official vet's list is possibly shorter, because horses are making it back to the barn before the problem shows up. Like Tucumari has been saying all along. Horses only get on the vet's list if they are lame on the track, sick, scratched, etc. not when the show up lame 20 min after the race.

I really didn't find anything to take umbrage about in either of Michael's posts. It is a sad commentary on the whole of American society that the "politically correct" police have totally eviscerated freedom of speech and freedom of expression in this country to such an extent that a tongue in cheek remark that is in no way offensive gets somebody banned from a public forum.

I'm very sorry you feel that way, but it might help you to realize that I have a lot more information that I use to make my decisions than what the "general public" sees on this board. There is a thread that might offer you a little insight into the MANY reasons behind this particular account inactivation; I'll see if I can find it and link to it here. It was certainly not based on just what you see in this thread, and there's more to it than what I will post publicly about as well. That's just going to have to be good enough in this case.

On page 3 of this thread:
http://www.pedigreequery.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16525&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=michael&start=30
I do my best to explain the reasons behind the inactivation. Again, I will not go into specific details, but my post there should illustrate that there was much more involved in the decision than what you refer to as a "tongue in cheek remark."

If this is a comment directed at me, I don't "get it." If you have concerns that you'd like addressed I'd be happy to do so to the best of my ability, but I guess I need it spelled out for me a little more directly.
