Thanks...but when was the Bluegrass Stakes first graded...and what was the original designation...Grade 1...Grade 2 or Grade 3? When did the Graded designation(s) (re: the Bluegrass) change, upward and/or downward?

Blue Grass Stakes: 1911 to 1995
Toyota Blue Grass Stakes: 1996 to Present
1915 to 1918, 1927 to 1936: Race not held
Grade 3: 1973 to 1989
Grade 2: 1990 to 1998
Grade 1: 1999 to present

Did Menifee run there? I cannot remember for sure, but seems like he ran there then won the BG and placed in the KD.
