Hi

I did a GSV and Conduit Mare collaboration and came up with:

#9) Ivan Denisovich

#2) Araafa

#10) Marcus Andronicus

#1) Arabian Prince

4 horse tri/super boxes?

Hay Patcher 2nd dam of Mull of Kintyre sire of Araafa is another example of the classic nick Northern Dancer over Rabelais thru Hoist the Flag.

Mull of Kintyre grand-sire is Northern Dancer thru Danzig, this classic nick is becoming a legend in its own time.

Both Danehill and Ninisky were produced from this classic nick.

Might it be a lot more due to the presence of the excellent sires, Danzig, Polar Falcon, Northern Dancer, Easy Goer, Nureyev, Cozzene, Nearctic, Alydar, Hoist The Flag, Northern Dancer again, Caro and Bustino; all within four generations rather than a sire who appears in the 7th and 8 generations. :D

By the way, Araafa's sire Mull Of Kintyre is getting killed by my GRASP program thus affecting greatly Araafa's GSV and that's why Araafa's GSV is low. Mull Of Kintyre only has 3yo's to race, with one tremendous runner and thee listed horses last year that placed in addition to Araafa. He is his only listed or Graded horse to place so far. Too bad, I couldn't play with the numbers and pretend he is an excellent sire so far based on one foal

The Rabelais thru Pleasant Colony and grandsons of Northern Dancer ala Northfields---Northjet---Nijinsky II---Shareef Dancer---Green Dancer---and Northern Dancer sons are the dam sires of those mares that were bred to Pleasant Colony.

This is the classic nick in reverse Rabelais over Northern Dancer. I am posting this bloodline affinity by memory, as I dont have Tessio Power to quote.
