Ghostzapper

Postby George William Smith » Thu Jun 22, 2006 8:12 am

Anybody still got the works part of their Tuesday form. A friend said he saw a black letter work of Ghostzapper, spelled the same, at Churchill. I said he must be nuts but he sticks by seeing it?

It was probably a colt named Ghosttrapper, a 3YO.

Thanks. Usually he is very good as passing on useful information.

I'll have his eyes checked. :D

The work was definitely credited to Ghostzapper, but I'd be pretty sure it was Ghosttrapper.

Equibase credit a work 5f 59.6 sec bullet on Friday to Ghostzapper. On Monday, they changed it to Ghosttrapper.

I would not be surpised that it was not Ghostzapper. The time between workouts is about right for him.

Hi George, kind of off topic, but can you please explain what excited you about this mating from your website?

07 Ghostzapper-Lazy Slusan, bred by Ian Banwell

Thanks,

Yeah, the joke would be that GZ's breeding career wasn't really interfering with his 3 or 4 race per year schedule, so they figured they'd put him back into training.

Breed in the spring and early summer...race in the fall and winter!
