Very impressive today in the Hollywood Juvenile Championship. He came from off the pace and looks like he could go a little longer. They paid 1.2 million for him, thats a lot to me from a sire like Exploit, who by the way now stands in Korea.

My thoughts exactly. The second and third colts looked like they will improve with seasoning and distance, too. The winner is bred on the familiar pattern of Northern Dancer over Mr. Prospector over Northern Dancer over Northern Dancer.
A $100,000 yearling, pinhooked six months later for $1.2 million. Eerily similar to Baffert's WHAT A SONG, who won this race a year ago before his fatal breakdown at Del Mar. That colt was a $95,000 yearling, which Baffert later purchased as a 2yo for $1.9 million. Hope this colt has a happier future.

He's a really nice colt but where will he be in March 07? Probably on the sidelines. Think about it-This colt has been hammered and honed on for at least the last six months. He drilled very fast in March to go for 1.2 million. Just once I would like to see Bobby turn one out for a couple of months, let the body and mind recover then let him make his next start at the Santa Anita winter meet.
