Louis Help???

Postby seabiscuitfan » Tue Aug 22, 2006 12:33 pm

Hey Louis,
I am trying to find a pedigree ona horse that ran or was gonna run at Longacres in 1976 or 1977. He was a 3 yr old and his name is or was Prevalent Prince. A strange question but my dad owned him for a short time and he has passed away. Any help here or ideas?

I'm not Louis, but I have an '06 APR.

There was a 1974 horse named Prevalent Prince, by Prince Murk out of Succeedingly. The APR does not have information about WHERE he ran, but he raced for 4 years, made 32 starts, won once, was 2nd and 3rd five times each, and earned $2,862.

I have added his pedigree here, as well as his dam's.

Hi

This horse was bred by Lloyd Loop of Poplar Farms in Bow Washington. I don't think the farm exists any more. Lloyd also bred the dam, Succeedingly, and stood Prince Murk at Poplar Farms, along with the Ambiorix son, Amblingorix.

Hello Bill and Madelyn
I want to say thank you both for your help in finding this. You will be making my stepmom and myself very happy. This is such a huge help and i am so glad someone knew. I have no clue as to how to find all the progenies and all of that. I only wonder what happened. Last time we heard he was going to Canada maybe. I know this is sad that we do not know what happened and I was just a kid at the time but I have since well I am horseracing addict now and just wonder. It's a long story between my dad and the trainer of Prevalent Prince. I think my dad wanted him to go to a farm for retirement but I don't know if that is what happened. anyways, thank you both for your help!!! :D
