Yes this guy is for real and I was sorry that the tragedy of Barbaro overshadowed his incredible Preakness win. Its possible that he could go all the way this year considering the weakness of the older male division. Bluegrass Cat has NEVER been a serious horse but his connections have placed him well to accumulate big bucks and somebody had to finish second! Its a sad reflection of the attrition rate of the triple-crown trail when you have a Million dollar mega-race like the Travers and it becomes an exercise gallop for the last good three year old standing.

I'd say that Discreet Cat and Henny Hughes have both recently proven that they are pretty darn good three-year-olds as well. I do think that Bernardini is the top one, but I am excited to see a battle between Discreet Cat and him.
