Anyone know what they are for that incredible performance?

He was given a 116 Beyer.. in comparison Discreet Cat got a 112. Of course these #s are always subjective but a bit of a guide nonetheless.
I don't see any old horses that will beat Bernardini if he continues to run as he has since breaking his maiden. He's the best to come along in a while.. same class as Point Given and a much better 3 year old then Ghostzapper (who didn't do that much at 3).
i saw him in the flesh up close saturday at saratoga with my own eyes,...what an amazing looking animal...truly something special..there all going to have a hard time beating him.....all he needs... is to be tested in a good stretch battle, and that will harden him for good for the BC..then they all have no chance.

Slow down Louis my friend,I have been a Berni convert since the furlong pole in the Preakness, however I just hope that he can progress along the same lines that he has been and should he start breaking track records then let the coronation begin. Great horses run track records by habit and I have looked for one with those habits for many years ,they are very rare. Its hardly surprising that the incredible Dr Fager should show up like that through the dam alongside Bold Ruler, what a recipe for a running machine!!!!!!!

I disagree. LM's numbers are not all that impressive throughout the year. Maybe the SA Handicap, but other than that...
Bernadini going into the Preakness was a developing horse.. and maybe still is. And if so, the older horses in the h'cap division best get their running shoes on, cause the three year olds will run them into the ground. LM can't compete with these. Easr West bias be damned. I am west coast... they just look better in the east this year....

bernadini will most likely lay off a sharp pace in bc then put the petal to the metal to lava man......who i take absolutely nothing away from....going to be a super classic. lets all hope they get there healthy and in top form.

(4) grade 1's this year is not impressive. The voting is not done on #'s its done on wins and the competition you faced.

When I read Bernardini's expression in his eyes, I see a TB that has class, intellegence, determination, superior talent and a strong will to win.
Many Tb in my lifetime have had the same expression of eye that Bernardini has. Many our called but few are chosen.

Louis: Considering the other threads you are entertaining at this time, you do advocate that BERNI be gelded or are there some contradictions here that I'm missing? As I understand your thinking, he is definitely HOY quality but god forbid we pass those championship qualities to some unsuspecting colt or filly.
