Born extremely crooked, so was never trained or raced. Was bred at the age of 2 to produce G1 winner Commentator, becoming one of the youngest mares to produce a G1 winner.

Outsource was inbred 4 X 5 to Native Dancer and 4 X 5 to Buckpasser.

I don't think Commentator is the soundest of horses, could this be coming from his dam then? What do his legs look like? Is she passing those legs down to her offspring?

She could have been born crooked because of the way she was situated in the womb as a fetus or it could be that she just IS crooked. The first probably not inheritable (unless she inherited a weird womb from her dam!) but second one def. can be! I don't recall seeing Commentator from the front or rear so can't say if he is crooked or not. Some horses are unsound but not necessarily due to their breeding but their care, farrier work, etc.
