Boy, did we have fun watching racing today!

Within 3 minutes of each other, two Unbridled Jet babies won at two different tracks: Jet Away Jane, A other than at Philly, and F Sixteen, MSW at Monmouth. Then, Dave's Jet just missed 2nd in MSW at Delaware.
But our day was capped off by our mare's 4yo. half sister, Murani, winning her first graded stakes: the Flaming Page at Woodbine, beating Noble Stella in a stretch duel!
So hopefully, our Unbridled Jet baby, Spider, who's in a tough A-other than at Delaware Tuesday keeps the good mojo going! :D

Now that is a good day! So your mare is out of a Bucksplasher mare, I love them on soft turf and it was soft there today as we have had plenty of showers here in Ontario these past couple of days. I checked out the photo of Unbridled Jet on this site and he has a great hind leg!!!!

So good to hear Denise, love those UBJs. Good luck to Spider in his race at Delaware. I know of one stakes winner bred from a son of his and the reason the mare was bred to this stallion was because of his perfect hind end. Wilf that hind leg was a gift from Easy Goer and it seems to one of the good things he passed on

It's interesting, Wilf: our mare is by Cozzene, so you'd think she would have adored the turf, right? NOT. Tiny feet, so she slipped and skidded all over the place when we tried her on the grass. Her son, Spider, doesn't care much for the grass either (long, low action), but her 2yo. daughter by UBJet works beautifully on it, as well as the dirt! I'm so thrilled for Murani, because they paid a lot of money for her, and had to take their time with her, but it seems to be paying off. The matriarch, Grand Splash, is now a 100% producer with two stakes winning daughters, which really helps our page in next week's Timonium sale. Our yearling by Syncline is hip #196.
Of all the runners, only Murani really needs the turf, though. The only other won who's won on the turf is Seattle Splash, but she's shown equal foot in the slop.

I agree with you, though...UBJet is one of the most stunning stallions I've ever seen in the flesh, and that hind end is worthy of bronzing.
:D :D He's also one of the classiest and kindest stallions I've ever encountered.
All of our babies (so far) seem to have gotten the good rear engine, along with their mother's starchy personality.
