Who is this Belmont 2YO?

Postby andy » Wed Oct 04, 2006 4:30 pm

I'm looking for help identifying this guy. Supposedly the groom told someone his name is "Terminator", but the youngest Terminator that the Jockey Club knows is a 1996 model. He was schooling in the paddock at Belmont on Sunday. Very feisty and very impressively built.

Edit: Thanks to Deborah Kral, I've found out that he's a 3 year old - Determinator.

Barn name. Terminator probably isn't even part of the horse's name.

His mama needs to tell him not to make faces like that or it might stick that way!

What a fascinating facial mark. Can't say he isn't a character can you?

That is a 3yo Frankel gelding named Determinator, barn name Terminator, probably why he was gelded.

I'd love to know the breeding on this one..... he sure looks familiar! (and the gelding he looks like finally got "reasonable" at age ten.....)
