maryland million

maryland million day is saturday, 10/14. this will be cherokee boy's last race and then he'll be retired. they have a good card, this will be a good race day.

fyi, maryland million day was a huge success - great weather, good card, a huge crowd. but here's the good part - in between races they feature exhibits like hunters & hounds, miniture horses, terrier races, etc. this year one of the exhibits was all about adopting OTTBs through CANTER, how well they compete in other events, etc. while four adopted horses and they're owners were on display. i thought it was a great way to raise awareness.

Glad to hear the Maryland Million was a success. I just happened to be in North Carolina attending my first NASCAR race. I think I just like to watch things go around a track piloted by men in colorful outfits...glad to see Country Life win another Million race. I was fortunate to see Spectacular Malibu at the farm this past spring while she was in training.
