Dear Horseman,
We are announcing the formation of The Texas Horsemen's Association, aimed at promoting the sport of Thoroughbred racing to the general public as a sport for the purpose of entertainment. In this way, we believe it is possible to create public awareness of the industry's needs and to improve Thoroughbred racing and breeding in Texas. No other Texas horse association is able to serve this purpose due to restrictions placed on them by their defined purpose under tax codes.
The Texas Horsemen's Association is not a duplicate or competing association. Please visit the website to learn about The Texas Horsemen's Association. We are currently seeking members and support from the horsemen and horsewomen of Texas.

The Texas Horsemen's Association would like to find out which Thoroughbred racing in the state is the hardest working horse in Texas.
The horse selected to represent all of the hard working horses in Texas racing must be a Texas born Thoroughbred. (TTA accreditation not required)
He or she must be currently racing on Texas tracks.
He or she must have earnings and wins at any level.
