In Memory of Debie Ginsburg

Postby louis finochio » Sun Jan 28, 2007 8:16 am

When I was researching Tb Nicking Patterns at the CTBA library in Arcadia Calif. I met Debie Ginsburg, who worked for the CTBA as a writer. Debie loved to research and write like I do and we became good friends over the years.

Debie passed away last year and I when I would go back to the library, I would always think of her. Debie loved to go to the races.

Last Friday I was walking through the backstretch and I met Tracy who now works for the Blood Horse, Tracy used to work at the CTBA library.

Tracy told me that on Saturday their was a Tb named Debie Ginsburg named after her that was entered in the 8th race'

Debie Ginsburg broke 5th and started to move up at the 5-16ths and was now 3rd. in the final 100 yards before the wire DG was making her late run and won a 3 horse photo to break her maiden.

I know Debie was watching her names sake run, and is very happy that Debie Ginsburg was victorious. Be well, and peace be with you Debie Amen.
