Well, I am blown away. I can believe it of Mrs. Stronach. I never knew the old SOB had it in him. Good for them! I'll have to adjust my opinion, I guess....

After FS bought Santa Anita, I saw him on the SA backstretch taking notes with his notebook and pen. FS was looking a the rest rooms and those old patched up barns.

I have been waiting years for those notes to become a reality for new rest rooms and barns.

Well it is finally going to happen as they will replace 9 old barns with 9 new ones after the current meet is run. Congrats Mr. Stronach as all the backstretch employees have waited many moons for this to happen.

I'm very glad to hear about the Stronach retirement program for the horses. This needs to be on the front page of the daily racing form.
