Hi George,

I'm just wondering...in the case of Ghostzapper, he's an exception to your standards. There are exceptions to every rule...what do you make of Ghostzapper?

GHOSTZAPPER (USA) b. H, 2000 DP = 7-1-6-0-0 (14) DI = 3.67 CD = 1.07 - 11 Starts, 9 Wins, 0 Places, 1 Shows Career Earnings: $3,446,120

Hi Rokeby:
He's not an exception to my standards. My standard is 68 and he scores 68.92. Not as high as I would like but if Awesome Again turns out to be a good broodmare sire, his score will go up. If AA fails as a broodmare sire, his GSV will slide back down.

However, you are right in that very rarely do stallions become excellent at stud without at least a score of 70.

good point
George
