See he sold for only $125,000. What was wrong with him? Slow works? Thought he would go a lot higher. Any info?????

I raised a foal named Little Geezer from that female family. He was tiny, probably 700 pounds, knock kneed, toed out, bent in every way. And fast. His first work was :21 and change. He broke his maiden first time out and broke his knee while he was about to win in his third start. The injury happened when the horse he was passing ducked out into him, and he threw out his right leg to brace himself. He's won a few more cheap races with time off in between.
I think that family has a predilection toward a lot of front-end problems coupled with being very small. Doesn't make for big returns in the sales ring, but man, can they run.

There was a lot of talk about Xtra Heat's front end being crooked. Why would you breed a mare like that, especially if her family seems to have front end problems, to a stallion known for throwing off-set knees? That makes no sense.
Her Storm Cat babies haven't really been selling well, so why don't they try a stallion who will put a good front end on her offspring?

Griff,
It's because the alternative is breeding to Unbridled's Song for $200K and getting a foal with rotten feet.

I'd strongly consider Street Cry largely on account of Street Sense and Summer Doldrums together suggesting an affinity between the Dubai World Cup winner and Dixieland Band.

Sorry, but I strongly believe in Adam Smith and the free market does not support your contention that Storm Cat and Unbridled's Song rose to fame and forture throwing unsound foals.. Something is bad wring with this scenario.
There mustsurely be stallions out there that throw siund foals that can run and common sense and Adam smith satys they, not the stallions that are known to throw off set knees and rotten feet will dominate the market
