Belmont May 11

Postby Toccet02 » Tue May 01, 2007 7:51 am

I am going to Belmont Friday May 11 for the whole card.
I extend the usual offer of pictures and/or descriptions & thoughts of anyone's thoroughbreds of interest.
On a more personal note, might I add:
YAY!

I am handicapping based on data from this site.
1) GSV
2) race record (having won more than 1/2 its starts a huge plus. very rare.)
3) predeliction for speed or stamina (as appropriate to race distance) as noted on the pedigree from this site.

No pressure.
Andrew got a new lens so I'll be taking pics regardless. will post them soon!

You know, I won two races out of 8, and one of those was an exacta!
Lots of other races were close but no cigar. Using the system above did quite well. plus my friend and I both zeroed in on Wallstreetcorredor as a terribly attractive, cute-faced horse with a proud, curious carriage and a really nice if wiry frame. He's now 0 for 5, but what a face. A real standout. Terrible name though. Pics eventually.
