alot of the also rans stepped on their pedigree at the 1/4 pole...as for calvin b....he reminds me of "earnest t bass from mayberry RFD....dont get me wrong i have been a fan of his for years...great work ethic and attitude......he deserves all the praise heeped upon him....damn coon ass . and thats a quote from him.

Since this thread is titled, "The Derby" in general, did anyone else think that the singing of "My Old Kentucky Home" was just god-awful this year? I have never heard it so bad, with so many people off-tempo. I wondered if they had a Jumbotron with the words scrolling too slowly or something. What a year for the Queen to attend and hear THAT.
