News on Magnificence

Postby louis finochio » Fri Jun 01, 2007 5:45 pm

I was at Bruce Headley's barn this morn as Magnificence was being hosed with water and soap and she looks terrific.

M is now walking only as she will not ship to Del Mar, as her return is scheduled for October. M has filled out and reminds me of Affirmed, only M is taller and has a long cast body. See you after Del Mar M, have a happy vacation, your admirer Louis.
Those without sin cast the first stone.

I will get crucified for this, but I think she was better than R2R... at least up until maybe a mile and 1/16th

recorded a 109 beyer earlier this year.

You may be right and I LOVE Rags to Riches. But anything more than a 1 1/16, and she'd be running in quicksand against R2R!
Don't be so humble - you are not that great.

that's what I am thinking.. however seeing how she broke her maiden... I think she might be able to get the distance if she can sit off the pace like that.. ms. silky sullivan :)

I haven't seen too many stormy atlatnics that can do that exect for icy atlatnc, and you can't write a distance he can't run
