I've been given a 1% share in a partnership horse!

Postby Toccet02 » Wed Jun 06, 2007 8:07 am

Hey guys;
My co-worker's husband finally went and bought a 5% share of a partnership horse, and because I've given him advice and stuff, is gifting me a 1% share of any profit, plus I can see the horse with him as a guest, etc.
Kind of good practice w/o the financial responsibility! It's just a gesture, but a nice one.
Cool. Don't think I woulda picked him myself....but hey. Not looking him in the mouth!
I see this as an opportunity to get my feet wet.

Congrats, Toccet02! I hope it is much fun for you.

We've recently started a small partnership share giveaway to encourage interest in our local racing market. I hope all our partners have your enthusiasm :D

Total sarcasm, Geo! Of course I'm happy!
I'd be happier if it was the horse I recommended he pick, but . . . I guess he was talked into this one.

I'd rather not go into precise details, as some partnerships may not appreciate an owner making a gift of their shares.
But he's a blood bay, will be east coast, and is by Phone Trick. 2YO.

Hey Toccet02 - I thought you were holding out to buy my filly :lol:

I'm thrilled for you! I know this is a dream come true and wanna bet if this two year old starts winning - we'll know his name soon enough - proud momma's (even 1% momma's) always spill the beans eventually :wink: Good luck and congrats!

Why have I expressed interest in shoes??? :lol:

I must admit I bought new summer sandals that flayed the insides of my feet wide open.
Perhaps I can buy bandages!

She's a little fussy after all being the granddaughter of "you know who" - but if you take really good care of her, she won't mind where she lives :lol:
