I agree with some that say there should be some really big purses for the top horses that are restricted to four years old and up, so that the 3yo's are ineligible unless they forego [play on words] going to stud at 3 and stick around to race at least as 4yo's.

Let us hope that when we see the good older horses run, we must encourage the younger horses through high prestigious purses to stay in the game longer
