I bred a filly that is entered to run on the weekend in Kentucky. She has not had any registered works. Will she be allowed to run? If so, is this common? If not why would she be entered?
Thanks

There are hundreds of training centers throughout North America but not all can record official works for the Jockey Club,it is a ramshackle system whereby any works can be submitted to cover the rules of racing per individual tracks, however generally it gets the job done. What is the horse's name? I would love to follow it's progress.

No, you have to have a recorded work in order to race. They do not accept training farm works unless they went through the official certification process for recording works.
If you are a maiden I think you need 2 works plus a gate card.
I believe if I remember correctly....If it has been over 6 months since a horse last raced than they need a work. Less than 6 months, they do not.
