Bag of Hammers

Postby bdw0617 » Sat Jul 21, 2007 5:14 pm

someone on here owned this 2YO colt. I saw him in his debut loose to Bear Holiday (told you he was good), but I haven't heard anything from him sense. I have him in my virtual stable and I haven't noticed any workouts. is everything okay?

Bag Of Hammers

Postby amanda1 » Sat Jul 21, 2007 5:43 pm

Hi Bdw...

He just worked on the 18th at Woodbine, 4 furlongs in 49:80 on their all weather track.
We bred him and I almost went into cardiac arrest when I saw your post topic

Thanks for keeping track of him!

Contact equibase by email and tell them you arent receiving workout notifications. They probably deactivated you which they did to me recently. They will activate you again.

I'll keep you updated. I keep hoping they give him more distance, he's got the Langfuhr and Dynaformer lines to be a route horse.

Here's hoping!

I've been keeping tabs of his workouts recently and he's been killing it on the track... what's next?

He's running 8/11 at Woodbine, 6f on the turf. The turf should be a good move for him but I'd like to see him go a little further.

Fingers crossed...... :D

Well he ran 4th today, was on the front end and couldn't hold on.....not sure WHY he was sent to the front, but what do I know???? Not a bad 2nd start, I like him on the turf but I still think he's like to go 2 turns.

Sigh.....his Quiet American sis at the farm is waiting for him to boost her value!!

i saw the race.... maybe it was basically a paid workout?

Pedigree definatly suggest 2 turns

still...as long as he doesn't get injuried.. he will be a good one

remember.. you don't want him to peak NOW......

for thoose of you who haven't been keeping up, Bag of hammers broke his maiden in a MSW at woodbine very recently. did it pretty nicely as well.

Definatly a 2 turn horse, has potential to be pretty good.

congrats Amanda!!!

you siad you have her half sister by Quiet American.. do you like her?
